AMSOIL SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil (AHR)

For High-Horsepower Racing Engines

AMSOIL SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil (AHR) AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil (AHR) is a high-viscosity oil designed for high-horsepower racing engines, typically supercharged and alcohol-burning or nitro-fueled, requiring a high-viscosity oil to resist the thinning effects of fuel dilution.

AMSOIL SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is formulated specifically for wear protection and friction reduction in the extreme conditions of racing. It is race proven and reduces friction, promotes power and inhibits wear.

AMSOIL, the leader in automotive synthetic lubrication, produced the world's first API qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL, The First in Synthetics® , to do the best job protecting your engine.

Motorcycle Applications

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is formulated with a complete and robust additive package, making it suitable for all engines for which API SL/CF SAE 60 oils are specified or desired. AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil contains no friction modifiers and is wet-clutch compatible, meeting the frictional requirements of JASO MA and ISO-L-EMA. The combination of high viscosity, full additive system and wet-clutch compatibility make this oil an excellent candidate for use in air-cooled vintage and classic motorcycle engines such as the Harley-Davidson Knucklehead and Shovelhead models.

Heat Stability

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is highly resistant to thermal degradation and oxidation. Even in long-term, high-temperature service, AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil maintains its specified chemical and physical properties, forming no sludge, varnish, deposits or acids and maintaining its specified viscosity and ability to protect and lubricate engines.

Oil Consumption

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is highly resistant to evaporative losses, which keeps oil consumption rates low. Low rates of oil consumption allow oil to flow freely without significant "boiloff" thickening to ensure dependable engine lubrication and protection.

Corrosion, Rust and Foam Control

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil seals out rust, neutralizes acids and resists foaming. Rust inhibition is especially important for engines subject to frequent short-trip operations or frequent periods of storage. Acid neutralization protects engines from damage caused by corrosive by-products of combustion. Foam resistance ensures protection against the metal-to-metal contact and wear that occurs when air is trapped in an oil.

Viscosity Retention

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is shear stable, so the viscosity grade that's installed in the engine is the viscosity grade that stays in the engine. That's especially important for race engines, motorcycle engines and other engines subject to high-temperature/high-stress operations. Viscosity retention ensures the maintenance of a protective lubricant film between working metal parts, which prevents metal-to-metal contact and consequent failure or wear.

Applications and Recommendations

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is recommended for use in gasoline- or alcohol-fueled engines requiring and SAE 60, API SL/CF engine oil. Also recommended for motorcycle engines requiring an SAE 60 JASO MA or ISO-L-EMA fluid.

AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil is not recommended for use in cold-temperature environments.

Service Life

Follow engine manufacturer's oil drain interval recommendations when using AMSOIL Synthetic Super Heavy Weight Racing Oil.

AMSOIL EaO Full-Flow Filters (EaO) are designed for extended drain intervals. They stop smaller particles, flow more oil and last longer than regular filters. For best performance, use AMSOIL EaO Full-Flow Filters.

AMSOIL Ea Racing Air Filters (EaAR) are specially designed for racing and street rod enthusiasts who desire AMSOIL Ea protection in carbureted applications. AMSOIL EaAR Air Filters are constructed with the same synthetic nanofiber media as other AMSOIL Ea Air Filters, providing maximum protection and extended filter life.

AMSOIL offers WIX Racing Oil Filters for racing applications. WIX racing filters are specially designed for racing applications only.

OIL ANALYZERS, 715-395-0222, is a division of AMSOIL that provides cost-effective, quality oil analysis services. For more information on product applications and service life, refer to the AMSOIL Product Recommendation and Drain Interval Guide (G1490).

Mixing AMSOIL

AMSOIL ASL is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits of AMSOIL. Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motor oils.

HEALTH & SAFETY

This product is not expected to cause health concerns when used for the intended application and according to the recommendations in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). An MSDS is available upon request at 715-392-7101 or on our website. Keep out of the reach of children. Don't pollute. Return used oil to collection centers.
